Welcome to the Copper Queen Library’s Summer Reading Program, All Together Now! We will be working with the Bisbee Science Lab to host weekly programs in June and July and giving away a book a week to every participant. Centered around Kindness, Friendship, and Unity, this year's program is open to children between the ages of 0—18 and will kick off with Wildman Phil's Reptile Show on Friday, June 2, 2023 on the Ramada of the CQ Library Annex from 1—3 PM.
Programs will be held on Wednesdays, from June 7—July 12, 2023 from 12:30—2:30 PM at the CQ Library Annex, which is located in the BUSD Administration Building at 519 W. Melody Lane in the San Jose Neighborhood of Bisbee. This summer’s program will culminate with a field trip and picnic party at the Oldfield Oasis on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Families are responsible for arranging transportation to attend this end of summer extravaganza. Details and directions will be provided for interested families.
Preschool Summer Programs will be held during their regular time slots, with special incentives for attending families. Preschool Story Time—Wednesdays (Annex) & Fridays (Old Bisbee) @ 10:30 AM / STEAM Story Time—Thursdays (Annex) @ 10:30 AM.
Because supplies are limited, registrations will be prioritized to local Bisbee, Naco, and surrounding unincorporated areas being served by the Copper Queen Library. Please register early, as space is limited.
