The Copper Queen Seed Library allows patrons to “check out” vegetable, flower and herb seeds to plant in their home gardens. The goal of the seed library is to form and encourage a learning community centered around the saving and sharing of seeds in our unique desert climate. Patrons are encouraged to harvest and return seeds from their healthiest plants to ensure the sustainability of the project.

Our Tool Library offers free checkout of home and garden tools and more with your Copper Queen Library Card. This program eliminates cost-related barriers to home improvements and encourages community sharing. The Copper Queen Tool Library is sponsored by the City of Bisbee, the Friends of the Copper Queen Library, and by the Bisbee Bloomers, who donated funds for the gardening tools.

Act One's Culture Pass provides access for students, retirees, and under-resourced families to visit Arizona's arts and cultural treasures. Act One partners with over 150 libraries statewide to allow library cardholders the opportunity to checkout free passes. Culture Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may not be reserved, set aside for later pickup, or transferred to another location for pickup.Only individuals with a full-service library card may check out Culture Passes. Only one pass may be checked out per household, per week, with a maximum of two passes per household in a 30-day period.Culture Passes check out for seven days and cannot be renewed.
The Library also has pickleball rackets and balls available for checkout. Patrons can check out a set of two racquets and six pickleballs that can be used at the pickleball courts located at Higgins Park in Old Bisbee. Also available for checkout are bocce ball sets which can be used on the courts in Upper Vista Park in Warren. Checkouts are for seven (7) days.
The Copper Queen Library Bike Repair Station is located in the parking lot of the CQ Library Annex at 519 W Melody Lane. The station is equipped with tools and an air pump so that patrons can do simple bicycle repairs themselves.
