CQL Virtual Program : "Land Subsidence and Earth Fissures in Arizona" with Joseph Cook, M.S.

Joseph Cook, a research scientist for the Arizona Geological Survey, will present an overview of the history of earth fissures in Arizona - their causes, hazards associated with their presence, and the outlook for the future. He will provide examples throughout the state but focus on those in Cochise County, including some recent monsoon-related fissure reactivation and damage to roadways.
