Tuesday, November 29, 2022
This hour long video describes the evolution of the Day of the Dead holy day/holiday in Mexico and the greater Southwest from the Aztecs up to today. We are the ones living and dying here and we get to celebrate as we see fit. This is our Day of the Dead now. The video covers our loss of loved ones and other mystical seasonal themes through a series of music videos. At the end, we will see actual scenes of Day of the Dead in Alamos Sonora. This video by Mike Foster was filmed in Southern Arizona and Sonora Mexico.
