Qigong the Chinese gentle exercise moving energy through out the body to promote health and relaxation. The exercises are based on the movements of animals changing with the seasons. Anyone needing to may do all exercises while sitting in a chair. A short meditation is incorporated within each class.
This class is held outside in Grassy Park located at the Bisbee Mining and Historical Museum.

first collection, Tracing the Horse, was a New York Times Noteworthy Pick and follows the coming-ofage of a young Mexican-American woman trying to make sense of who she is amidst a family and community weighted by violence and addiction.

Join the Copper Queen Library Annex for our multi-age interactive STEAM Club where parents/caregivers and their children will read stories and do projects related to science, technology, engineering, art and math. Subjects will include Our Senses, Counting and Comparing, Geometry and Attributes, Sorting and Classifying, and Patterning and Sequencing. This Club is designed to give parents/caregivers tips for supporting their children's math and science development at home.
