She served as the director of the UA Institute of the Environment and the University of Oxford's Environmental Change Institute. Her work addresses the causes, consequences, and responses to climate change, especially climate vulnerability, adaptation and governance and the links between environment, sustainable development, and food security.

Join Rose Hall for “Let’s Make a Parade!” – a series of five (5) art work-shops centered around the Day of the Dead. This year, participants will work to create one giant sculpted puppet out of papier mache. The puppet will then be featured in El Dia de Los Muertos Parade that will start in Goar Park in Old Bisbee on Saturday, November 2. This program is free and all ages and participants are not required to attend all 5 workshops.
