September 4, 2021, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Bisbee, AZ
The self-guided tour will highlight both new and older gardens in a variety of styles that demonstrate the unique microclimates that exist in the mile-high city. Gardens will be staffed with docents who will be ready to answer questions about the garden and all of the natural wonders that have rooted in its soils. Visitors will be treated to a special mix of desert and native species of plants, as well as some more exotic specimens that make gardening in Bisbee different from any other place in Arizona. Those on the tour will also be able to take notes on the creative use of hardscaping and art in some of the gardens, as well as on some of the unique outdoor living spaces that will allow guests to sit and rest and enjoy the gardens as they were intended to be.
