    JEAN-JACQUES GRANDIERE retired from the French National Education, and moved to Bisbee in 2019. He started volunteering at the Bisbee Mining and Historical Museum, and also volunteers at the Copper Queen library and the Friends of the CQ Library Bookstore. He started in the US in 1988, as Deputy Headmaster at the Lycée Français de San Francisco. He became General Director in 2005 and in 2011, founded with a group of American parents, the Lycée de la Nouvelle-Orleans. Jean-Jacques lived in French Guyana and Surinam, where he lived for 2 years before moving to Bisbee.
