Join the Copper Queen Library Annex for our multi-age interactive STEAM Club where parents/caregivers and their children will read stories and do projects related to science, technology, engineering, art and math. Subjects will include Our Senses, Counting and Comparing, Geometry and Attributes, Sorting and Classifying, and Patterning and Sequencing. This Club is designed to give parents/caregivers tips for supporting their children's math and science development at home.
Copper Queen Library Annex
Join us each Thursday from 1—2 PM at the CQ Library Annex in San Jose for our new Kids Movement Class. Parents and children will learn basic movement techniques from a variety of instructions! This program will be held outdoors in the Ramada located at the Annex at 519 W. Melody Lane. Open to kids of all abilities, up to 8 years old.

This writing workshop is for kids, ages 10 - 18. CAL FREEMAN is the author of the books Fight Songs (Eyewear, 2017) and Poolside at the Dearborn Inn (R&R Press, 2022). His writing has appeared in many journals including The Oxford-American, River Styx, Southword, Passages North, and Hippocampus. He currently serves as Writer-In-Residence with Inside Out Literary Arts Detroit and teaches at Oakland University. SARAH PAZUR holds a PhD in Educational Leadership. Her work has appeared in Pit-head Chapel, JMWW, Exacting Clam, Porcupine Literary, Connotation Press, Ed-Surge, English Leadership Quarterly and elsewhere. She lives in Michigan.
For this Summer Reading Program, participants will meet at the CQ Library Annex in San Jose for a Teen Writing Workshop. This program is for youth between the ages of 10 - 18 years.
