Responsibilities
The City of Bisbee operates under a Council / Manager form of government. As such, the City Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of all City government functions under policy direction from the Mayor and City Council.
Legislative Body of Bisbee
The Mayor and Council, acting as the legislative body, determine City policy. The City Manager proposes new policies and implements and administers policy adopted by the City Council. The City Manager is also responsible for the development and administration of the City operating budget once approved by the Mayor and Council. The Mayor and Council appoint the City Manager.
