Division Structure
The Sanitation Division Consists of a total of 4 Sanitation Drivers,one of which is hand pick up for Old Bisbee. There is 3 recycle staff for all of Bisbee.
Garbage Schedule
Residential garbage is picked up 1 day per week. Commercial garbage is picked up Monday-Friday depending on the fee paid. Old Bisbee is picked up 2 days a week. All garbage must be out by 6:00 a.m. free yard debris pick-up (small amount for free) is picked up each Wednesday, expect holiday weeks.
Large amounts of yard debris are $65.00 plus transfer station fee (billed to your home). All yard debris must be called into Public Works to be placed on a work order and scheduled.
Special pick up of other items is also $65.00 fee plus transfer station fee (billed to your home). All special pick ups must be called into Public Works to be placed on a work order and scheduled.
Special Christmas tree pick ups are completed the week after Christmas to just after New Year's Day. An area of disposal will be designated by Public Works

Sanitation Crew
The sanitation crew is responsible for the maintenance of the dumpsters, and the 90-gallon rollout containers used in the automatic pick-up operation. The major equipment for the Sanitation Department are 3 side pick-up automatic trucks. The small rear loader truck is used in Old Bisbee for the hand pick ups.
