Annual Altered Books Show and Silent Auction Fundraiser
Our annual Altered Books silent auction showcases the creative spirit of artists from our area. All artists are welcome to contribute their original altered book. We will hold a free public reception at Central School Project to view the pieces in person and an online auction for purchasing your favorite. All proceeds benefit programming and materials at Copper Queen Library.
This year's Altered Books Show will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023.

Annual Chocolate Tasting Fundraiser 2023
On behalf of The Friends of the Copper Queen Library, I wanted to let you all to know that the 32nd Annual Bisbee Chocolate Tasting, planned for February 11, 2023, has been cancelled.
We are heartbroken, as we know that so many in the community enjoy coming out for this iconic Bisbee event, but between the Health Department requirements and concerns about the spread of COVID, putting on a live event of this magnitude, based on home-baked food, is just not feasible. Thanks to all of you who stepped up and responded to our call for bakers and volunteers over the past two weeks – we so appreciate your support.
Moving forward, we will be brainstorming new opportunities to raise funds to support free programming at our award-winning Copper Queen Library, so stay tuned. Happy New Year to all!
