Spa Adventure submitted by Yotaki

Posted on April 13, 2020 at 7:28 AM by Jason Macoviak

Today I am an Egyptian Queen. My eyes are heavily lined with black and lit up with gold. I am preparing to go out and spend the morning weed whacking, hanging a door on my garden and washing clothes. This is the adventure part. So far I have fixed the roof, although it does need to be torn off and replaced but wind and weather prevent that. I have repurposed lumber and objects in my yard to build a wall and I now have a two room porch. Inside I hang shelves, move books redesign rooms and eliminate clutter. I have repaired my yurts and need to complete work when once again the wind and weather permit.
Each morning I greet the sun with WOW and qigong thanking the universe for all my blessings, this is the spa part. I have tried homemade, natural and what I might find on my shelf to create facials and hair conditioners. The last was coffee grounds and coconut oil. Each night I meet for a social distancing dinner with a new friend. He is outside my window eating weeds and I at my drawing table drinking yet another glass of water for I am on the spa diet. ( I have lost 7 lbs. so far). Oh, by the way he is a cotton tail. The birds recognize and yell warnings and directions if I come to close to nests but otherwise I could reach out and touch them.
My seeds from the library have arrived and some already sprouting. The other day after a month of no fresh vegetables I bought produce from a local restaurant. I am so very grateful. I missed my fresh greens.
Each day I find a way to sparkle and find joy for today is amazing. It is a great day to be alive.
