[ARCHIVED] Seasons of Giving Returns This December!

Seasons of Giving

December marks the Copper Queen Library’s Seasons of Giving with the return of two community campaigns that help celebrate the season of giving in Bisbee:

Secret Santa : Help reinstate someone’s library borrowing privileges and become a Secret Santa this holiday season by replacing lost or damaged library items and clearing the accounts of those patrons who can’t afford to do so.

Food for Fines : The Copper Queen Library will partner with the Bisbee Fire Department again this year to help collect food to distribute to those in need for the December holidays. All month long, library patrons are encouraged to pay off their overdue fines with cans of food (and other non-perishable food items).

In conjunction with the Food Drive, the Library also wraps age-appropriate books as gifts for those families with children receiving Food and Gift Boxes from the Fire Department. Patrons can donate new books or help wrap them at our annual “rap” party which is held at the San Jose Annex mid-December.

For more information, please contact the library at 520-432-432, or email us at copperqueenlibrary@bisbeeaz.gov.
