Lori Reynolds was born in Louisiana and has lived in Texas and Kentucky before moving to Arizona in 2012, and Bisbee in 2019. Lori has quickly come to love Bisbee, and the wonderful sense of community it provides. Lori loves hiking, cycling, all things involving being in nature, and enjoys making jewelry and other creative expressions.
Lori retired in 2025, with 28 years as an Occupational Therapist, and in 2012 achieving a PhD in Gerontology. For 20 years Lori taught in graduate programs for occupational therapy, acquired specialty certifications in dementia care, and achieved several publications in elder care. In 2014, Lori helped establish the Occupational Therapy program at Northern Arizona University in Phoenix. In 2023, Lori led in the development of a program to address the needs of family members caring for loved ones with dementia, which was developed and implemented through a grant with the City of Phoenix and A. T. Still University. For her entire professional career, Lori has enjoyed working in small teams to achieve her professional goals, and with groups of people to achieve common goals and outcomes.
Since being in Bisbee, Lori has volunteered helping to teach a Pilates class, helping her husband with KBRP radio station fundraising, and most recently served on the board for the Bisbee Holistic Wellness Center (BHWC) for over a year. For the last year on that board, Lori served as the treasurer, streamlining processes, and helped to develop a monthly Healthy Living Series to educate and empower community members in their well-being.
Lori is ready to continue giving back to the City of Bisbee with her service on the City Council.
